The Out of the Wings Festival returns tomorrow to the Cervantes Theatre with five evening readings of translated plays from the Hispanic and Lusophone world.

Wed 4th July:
The Widow of Apablaza by Germán Luco Cruchaga, Translated by William Gregory

Thu 5th July:
Masters of the Universe by Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella, Translated by Sarah Maitland

Fri 6th July:
The Language of the Mermaids by Mariana de Althaus, Translated by Mary Ann Vargas

Additionally, this year’s festival will include a day-long symposium event and three translation-themed workshops.
